Management Team

John Pham – CEO and Chairman – an inventor and visionary, John invented the powerful business management system called Enterprise Resource Manager and has multiple patents pending. He based it on the new Internet Cloud Computing technology. This software-as-a-service (SaaS) empowers small and medium business-to-business companies (SMB/B2B) to cut costs, reduce frustration and go Green.

A successful and respected Silicon Valley business leader and serial entrepeneur, in 1989 Pham created Acropolis Systems Inc. Acropolis became the premier systems integrator in the U.S., focused on high-availability computing. He extended Acropolis’ competency by creating a business continuance and disaster recovery planning practice for mission-critical applications. Later, he transformed Acropolis into a software development company and called it BScaler.

Acropolis built state-of-the-art IT infrastructure for industry throughout Silicon Valley and beyond, growing to $50M in revenue. In 2002, Pham was awarded the 2002 VAR Business 500 “Business Technology Leader” for his insight and contribution to the technology sector. Ken McLaughlin featured him in the San Jose Mercury-News story, “Success from Nothing.”

While leading Acropolis, Pham saw firsthand his team’s frustrations due to the lack of complete business management software for SMBs. In 1997, he began in-house development of what became the BScaler Enterprise Resource Manager™. From its formation, it was created as a web-native application (the term SaaS was not yet coined). His keen foresight and passion drove him to hand over the reins of Acropolis and start what is now BScaler, Inc. His insight proved correct as BScaler’s web-based business management system provides a comprehensive solution for SMBs.

Before the Acropolis years, Pham was a veteran technology engineer and executive who had key design and engineering roles with Quantum Corporation and Sun Microsystems, where he was Sun’s chief of I/O and peripherals technology.

After Sun, Pham became a leader at Solbourne Computers, a subsidiary of Matsushita, in Colorado. He was part of their development of the first super-parallel multi-processor Sparc architecture servers and workstations in the Unix system market.   Read more John Pham >>
